Guess what

I drove on the freeway for the first time today. And tonight.
It was scary. But I'm still alive. PTL
I feel like I'm making progress and this makes me happy.
Goodnight

A bunch of random stuff

  • I finished writing another song yesterday. Yay....it might be good, we shall see.
  • We had a rocking party for the Twinners the other night....Happy Birthday bro's.....You are loved
  • Tomorrow is prayer day....TYJ...I can't wait.
  • I've started taking drivers ed... my driving instructor told me I'm doing remarkably well and thinks I'll be able to take my test after just 6 hours of instruction. Heh...we'll see. But I'm super inspired to be finally making progress on the driving front. TYJ.
  • I received an email from someone this morning and wanted to post it. Head on over there and you'll see what it's about:
Do you want to be part of a miracle? Do you want to see your prayers change someone's life for the better? Do you want to practice praying out of bounds prayers? Well, your chance is here! Visit HERE to find out how and why. Thanks a lot, God bless you.

workouts, singing and such

Not a lot to blog about at the moment, it's been a quiet week...and a rainy one. Strange for California. I realize how spoiled we are with the usual sunshine.
I've had to re-think my work outs this week, as the rain has kept me indoors all but one day where I was able to squeeze in some precious moments running the hills. Gotta love 'em.
Tory got me hooked on this new workout called Cyclocore. Nothing like those 75 Hindu squats to get your legs burning and toned. Today I pulled out an old Cindy Crawford workout video for the heck of it and managed to do the whole video, both workouts, without much difficulty. Thank you Hindu squats. I think they're doing the trick.
Oh and if you want a laugh, go have a look at what she's wearing in the video. Truly frightening. God forbid 80's or early 90's fashions like that ever become popular again. Ugh.
Angie and I went out last night and did open mic at an Irish Pub. Hick, true gentleman that he is, chaperoned us. Tx Hick. It was pretty fun and was so good to be singing/witnessing on stage again. Tho I can't say I sounded all that great. PTL. Hopefully this is something Ang and I'll be able to do more of, as it's a pretty cool way to witness.

Alrighty, this post is boring so I bid you adieu

I need a hug.
miss you

The Winery part 1

Yes, I know how sparse I've been in updating this place. But tonight I give you a whole slew of pics from freeday yesterday. Angel, Kevin, Kenji and I took ourselves off to a beautiful Temecula winery where we wined and dined, talked, fed the ducks and even had a nap under the afternoon sun. Perfecto. Pictures in no particular order of anything..

You never appreciate health........

I spent the past 24 hours paying homage to the porcelain god (aka the stomach bug). I can't remember the last time I've been this sick. Thankfulness for health and relief from pain takes on a whole new meaning after something like that.
Funny whenever I get really sick like that (which is rare, thank God) the little girl in me comes out and I get nostalgic for my parents.
Miss you

My true love....The Bard

These lines have been running through my head today for some odd reason.... when I was 16 I memorized most of this play, as we were going to perform it for our theater class (I was playing Hero...hahahaha). It's by far my favorite comedy written by my first love of writing -- The Bard.
I miss my Complete Works of Shakespeare book.

BEATRICE:
What should I do with him? dress him in my apparel and make him my waiting-gentlewoman? He that hath a beard is more than a youth, and he that hath no beard is less than a man: and he that is more than a youth is not for me, and he that is less than a man, I am not for him: therefore, I will even take sixpence in earnest of the bear-ward, and lead his apes into hell.
LEONATO:
Well, then, go you into hell?
BEATRICE :
No, but to the gate; and there will the devil meet me, like an old cuckold, with horns on his head, and say 'Get you to heaven, Beatrice, get you to heaven; here's no place for you maids:' so deliver I up my apes, and away to Saint Peter for the heavens; he shows me where the bachelors sit, and there live we as merry as the day is long.

I will find you bachelors....beware ;) snicker

Just call me multi-tasker

I figured out something. I'm a chronic multi-tasker. And my attention span is very short.
Case in point...I read two books during vacation, a couple hours on one, then I'd switch to the other one....Or there's the fact that I'm in the middle of writing two songs and I keep going back and forth and working just a little on each one.
I guess eventually I'll finish what I'm trying to accomplish, but I take a rather odd route getting there.
I don't know whether or not this is a good thing.

Been on vacation and....

Yeah...I know I should be updating and overflowing with intelligent posts.
Give me a day or two while I gather my thoughts.
I'm still here, tho, so don't forget about me....oh here are some insane pics of my handsome little bro and I...

Happy 2008

Greetings 2008
I ushered you in with style, complete with good friends and great music, jello shots, hot men... and dancing the night away. Thank you for that, it was great fun.
I think there are pictures somewhere. Uhoh.
Tomorrow Tory, Jules, Hick and I are doing the "ROAD TRIP" thingie......driving to LA, one night in a motel and then an all day Six Flags marathon. It's going to be brilliant. With company like that you can't go wrong. YAY
I'll be back with stories, I'm sure.
Happy New Year sweeties
