Adventures on a Friday night...or should I say misadventures

So...I met this guy last night downtown. He was the epitome of all that is wrong with young men in the world today. From the word go all he could do was talk about how much money he made, what position in his company he had, how much money his dad made and how "successful" he was. I was sitting there quietly thinking to myself "this isn't really happening...does he realize how freakin annoying he is?"... Sad thing is, he would have been cute if he would have been mute. (I'm a poet!!)
In the middle of the conversation somehow it comes out that he has a girlfriend, so right away I ask him what he's doing sitting with me, buying me drinks and flirting. He tells me his gf went off with some guy so he was trying to make her jealous. Even better. By that time I was so done with the conversation I would have walked off right then if I had the chance. Then to take it a step further, said gf and guy she was flirting with come prancing into the bar making full-of-himself guy even more pushy.
Rendezvous was definitely over by that time. Goodbye drama and annoying men. I walked away.
Oh and some random guy came up to me and tried to give me a lap dance. I just laughed at him and turned away.
Weird night. Heh. Gotta love it
