Give me a quiet mind
I've been a sick soul for the past week or so, relapsing from the flu and all sorts of nasty things. For some reason I start thinking a lot more when I get under the weather. With current results from "thinking" being that I'm teary eyed when I hear "A Quiet Mind"...I'm not sure I should wholeheartedly embrace this slightly more emo side of me. Hopefully I'll be better and back to my usual cynical self soon.
Life, in the way of my professional life, couldn't be better. Permanent position at the hospital, very close friends/work buddies...things are looking up. And they could all come crashing down in a minute. What a lovely thought.
Please, give me a quiet mind and I promise I will love you.

LOL...yeah it's a real talent of mine, can't you tell?
Get well soon! It seems like everyone on campus has become ill at the same time--I can only imagine what it's like at the hospital.
