Hello my lovelies, I'm still here. Alive and kicking...coughing like there's no tomorrow, remnants of damn flu, but getting better slowly but surely.
Worked today to make up hours missed due to being out sick. Sucked, as it's a rainy Saturday. All I wanted to do was curl up with a blanket, book and hot drink and enjoy the gloomy weather. Not to be. Ugh.
ACL is going on right now and I would have given an organ to have been able to see Kings of Leon play. Oh well. Austin is teeming with hordes of people from all over the country, here to watch the bands. Traffic is a bitch and finding parking downtown is ridiculous. Ugh. Next year I will do my utmost to get tickets, as it's supposed to be one hell of a weekend of music.
Snow Patrol is playing at Stubbs next week, so I'm gonna try to go to that, as it's affordable and in a small venue. Yay.
Nothing of great interest that I can note on this blog is going on at the moment, so I'll not bore you with trivialities.
